ललिता अटल शिवदासपुरा में अपने परिवार के साथ में रहती हैं।ललिता का विवाह 8 वर्ष पूर्व हुआ था। इनके परिवार की आर्थिक स्थिति ठीक नहीं थी ।इनके पति प्राइवेट जॉब करते है उनको 10,000 प्रतिमाह मिलते है जिससे परिवार का पूरा खर्चा चलाना भी बहुत मुश्किल से हो पाता हैं । इनको अपने बच्चों के बारें में हमेशा चिंता सताती रहती है कि बच्चें बड़े होने पर अच्छी शिक्षा कैसे करवा पाएँगे ? ये भी अपने परिवार की आर्थिक सहयोग करना चाहती है लेकिन खुद को समझ में नहीं आता की क्या करें ? सबसे बड़ी चिंता इस बात की है बच्चों को अच्छी शिक्षा की व्यवस्था कैसे कर पाएँगे क्योकि ये भी स्नातक किये हुए हैं। उन्नयन समिति के सदस्यों के सदस्यों के द्वारा मोहल्ले में समुदाय के लोगों के साथ में उषा सिलाई स्कूल के बारें में चर्चा कर रहे थे । समुदाय के लोगों ने ललिता का नाम सुझाया गया । इसके लिए ललिता जी और इनके पति के साथ में उषा सिलाई कार्यक्रम के बारें में चर्चा की गई तो उन्होंने घर सेबाहर भेजने को लेकर के सहमत नहीं हुए ।लेकिन ललिता जी ने अपने पति के साथ में चर्चा करके बाहर भेजने और सिलाई का कार्य करने पर सहमति दी ।इसके बाद में ललिता का चयन शिक्षिका के लिए किया गया ।
ललिता ने 7 दिवसीय आवासीय प्रशिक्षण के बारें में बताया कि पहले 5 दिनों में कपड़ो पर कढाई करना और डिजायन के बारें में सीखा और दो दिन में सिलाई मशीन की मरम्मत करना सीखा ।उन्होंने ये भी बताया कि प्रशिक्षण से पहले में घर से बाहर नहीं जाती थी और दूसरे लोगों के साथ में बातचीत करने में झिझक थी । लेकिन प्रशिक्षण के बाद में मेरे में जो सबसे बड़ा बदलाव जो आया वो ये है कि मैं अपनी बात को बिना किसी संकोच और झिझक के दूसरों के सामने रख पाती हूँ। दूसरा बदलाव जब में प्रशिक्षण के बाद में घर पर गई और मोहल्ले की महिलाओं और किशोरी बालिकाओं के साथ में सिलाई ,कढाई सिखाने के बारें में बातचीत की गई तो मुझे लगा की लोग मेरा सम्मान करने लगें हैं।
प्रशिक्षण के बाद में मोहल्ले की महिलाओं और किशोरी बालिकाओं के साथ में सिलाई सिखाने का कार्य शुरू किया गया । अब तक मेरे द्वारा 7 महिलों को सिलाई सीखा चुकी हूँ । इन सभी से 500 / प्रतिमाह के हिसाब से फीस ली गई । मेरे द्वारा अन्य महिलों और बालिकाओं के कपड़े सिल कर के एवं सिलाई मशीने ठीक करके 9000 से10,000 प्रतिमाह की आमदनी होने लगी है इससे मेरा आत्मविश्वास बढने लगा और मैं अधिक से अधिक महिलाओं और बालिकाओं को स्कूल से जोड़कर आमदनी को बढ़ाने के लिए काम कर रही हूँ । अब परिवार में हम दोनों पति पत्नी कमाने लगे है इससे हमारी थोड़ी बहुत बचत होने लगी है ताकि भविष्य में बच्चों को अच्छी शिक्षा दिलवा पायें।
वर्तमान में3महिलायें सिलाई सीखने का काम कर रही हैं।इनसे1500 रूपये मासिक आमदनी हो रही है ।इसके अलावा उन्नयन समिति के द्वारा कोराना माहमारी के संकट से बचने के लिए मास्क बनवाने का कार्य किया जा रहा हैं इस कार्य से मेरी और आर्थिक रूप से कमजोर एवं जरूरतमंद महिलाओं के साथ भी मास्क बनवाने का कार्य करवाकर के अपनी आमदनी को बढ़ाने के लिए काम किया जा रहा हैं।
मैं जब से उन्नयन समिति के उषा इंटरनेशनल कार्यक्रम के अंतर्गत उषा सिलाई स्कूल से जुडी हूँ और जोकि मेरी आय का जरिया बना । अब मुझे बहुत ख़ुशी होती है कि मैं भी मेरे परिवार की आर्थिक मदद कर पा रहीं हूँ ।

35 वर्षिय रामादेवी फागी से करीब 30kmपूर्व दक्षिण में स्थित चाँदमा कला गॉव अपने पीहर में रहती हैं। रामादेवी का 6-7 वर्ष की उम्र में ही बाल विवाह हो गया था।वह 2006 में ससुराल जाने लगी थी लेकिन बदकिस्मती से इनके पति का एक दुर्घटना में2012में मृत्यु हो गई थी।पति की मृत्यु के बाद किसीने भी साथ नहीं दिया। रामादेवी की दो किशोर बेटियां हैं उनकी सार संभाल की जिम्मेदारी अब रामा देवी की ही बन गई। पति की मृत्यु के दो माह बाद ही रामदेवी मायके आकर रहने लगी। रामादेवी अपने भाइयों के साथ ही रहती है। रामादेवी अब तक अपना व बेटियों का खर्चा मजदूरी करके चला रही थीं। इसी दौरान उन्नयन समिति द्वारा चांदमा कला में उषा आवास सिलाई स्कूल खोले की योजना बनी तो गॉंव बालों व उन्नयन समिति कार्यकर्ताओं ने रामादेवी का उषा आवास सिलाई स्कूल की शिक्षिका के लिए चयन कर लिया। इस हेतु 7 दिवसीय आवासीय प्रशिक्षण में जाना था तो रामादेवी ने इसके लिए यह कहते जाने से मना किया कि वो अकेली कभी बाहर नहीं गई उसे बहुत डर लगता है। रामादेवी को उन्नयन के साथियों व गॉव के लोगों ने समझाया की वहां किसी तरह की दिक्कत नहीं होगी और वहां बहुत कुछ सीखने को मिलेगा और फिर तुम हुनर सीख कर अपना खुद का काम शुरू कर सकती हो। तो रामादेवी डरते हुए प्रशिक्षण में आगयीं।
इस 7 दिवसीय प्रशिक्षण से रामदेवी की जिंदगी में बदलाव आचुका था। जो रामादेवी किसी से भी बोलेमें झिझकती थी, भयभीतसी रहती थीं। अब वो रामादेवी खिलखिला कर सब के साथ हंसती हैं, सब के साथ मस्ती करती हैं, चेहरे पर आत्मविश्वास की मुस्कराहट रहती है। इस के पीछे रामादेवी बताती हैं कि प्रशिक्षण में उन्हें जो माहौल मिला उससे उनकी जिंदगी में यह बदलाव आया है। प्रशिक्षण में सब एक परिवार की तरह रहते थे खुशनुमा माहौल मैं मस्ती मजाक के साथ 7 दिन जो बीते एक साथ रहना, खाना, सोना और एक-दूसरे का आदर सम्मान के साथ काम व सीखना बड़ा ही मजेदार रहा जो जीवन भर यादगार रहेगा।अब डर व झिझक पूरीतरह खत्म हो गई।
प्रशिक्षण के बाद रामादेवी सिलाई मशीन व अन्य सामान लेकर जब घर पहुची तो परिवार के लोगोंने उन्हें बहुत सम्मान दिया। उसके बाद पंचायत के सरपंच ने उनके सिलाई स्कूल का उद्घाटन किया तो पूरा गॉंव व पंचायत उनें बहुत सम्मान से देखने लगा। अब लोग बदली हुई आत्मविश्वासी रामादेवी से परिचित हो रहे थे।
अब रामादेवी मनरेगा व अन्य मजदूरी को छोड़ चुकी हैं और सिलाई स्कूल से खुद का व बेटियों का खर्चा निकलने लगी हैं। रामदेवी हर माह सिलाई करके 4 से 5 हजार और सिलाई सीखा कर 3 हजार और कुछ सिलाई मशीन सुधार कर कमाती हैं। अब करीब 8 से 9 हजार प्रति माह कमालेती हैं। फ़िलहाल में रामादेवी के पास 6 लोग सिलाई सिखने आती हैं।

Vimla is a resident of Paharia village of Madhorajpura block of Jaipur. She is 33 years old and is the mother of two children. Vimala ji and her husband both are physically handicapped and their financial condition is not good. Due to poor economic condition, they have to send their children to government schools. Being physically handicapped, she had to depend on other people. Many times she had to ask for money from others for household expenses, which could not be received on time. she was too shy to go out and talk to other people. One day a head of "Unnayan Samiti" came to our village and he was selecting such women who were not physically and financially capable, they wanted to learn tailoring in "Usha Awas Silai School" under Gram Siddhi Project, In which he was being given training in sewing, and Usha's silai machine was also being given. She also enrolled in this Silai school and underwent a 9-day residential training that was being offered at the Usha Awas Silai School, in which she was trained in stitching , embroidery, machine repair and life skills. After completing her training, she opened her own Usha Silai School through which she taught stitching to 25 girls and also started her own business. After opening the Silai school, she started getting orders for making many clothes and she earns 10 to 15 thousand in a month. She earned more than 15000 rupees by making sanitary pads, which were given through Unnayan Samiti and Awas Foundation. In the nutrition camp, she told pregnant and lactating women about the work of “Unnayan Samiti” and Usha Awas Silai School and also told about the changes taking place inside her. In which she told that today people know her by her name, today she has become so capable that she herself can go among the people and talk about herself, as well as she helps in the expenses of the house or she can say She takes care of all the expenses of the house, now she is sending her two children to a private school. Today, many types of dresses are made, in which party wear and embroidery works are also made. Today she goes to many events and she tells women about herself, she got nutrition and health hygiene camp done in which she earned Rs.16200. Along with this, she also told that today she goes alone and takes the goods of the shop and household items herself, she does not need to tell anyone. She has made herself very independent by joining Unnayan Samiti and Usha Awas Silai School.

Suman Devi Kumawat lives in Chitroli village of Sanganer block of Jaipur, her husband Amit Raj Kumawat works in finance in a private bank. Today, Suman has 12 silai machines, through which she teaches silai to women and she gave job to 7 girls who stitched the clothes and earn money, as well as she sews many designer dresses and gents' clothes, Suman earns 40,000 a month through stitching. After leaving Suman's husband's job, she started helping in the house, now Suman spends all the expenses of the house, along with teaching her children in private schools, Suman also encouraged the girls to play satolia. Today, Suman is called for training in Mahindra as a master trainer, and also works as a master trainer in the Unnayan Samiti, in which she conducts a 5-day camp. Today Suman goes alone everywhere and also gives training to women in many places, through which she tells people about Unnayan Samiti and Usha Awas Silai School and also thanks them, which has brought many changes in her life. Today Suman has made more than 1500 masks, 800 aprons and more than 1000 sanitary pads, also she has taught silai to more than 30 girls and 15 girls are still learning this course. Due to Suman's untiring efforts, today many girls are becoming aware and are also becoming self-reliant.

Manju Nagar lives in, Kawai Salpura Village, District Bara, Tehsil Atru. She has a small family in which her 2 children and husband live. When the team of "Unnayan Samiti" went to select women entrepreneurs for “Usha Silai School” in the village, Manju also participated in that meeting and she was selected for “Usha Silai School” and she was given a 7-day residential training in which she learned to stitch. After receiving the training she was given a sign board, a stitching machine, certificate and course book of Usha Silai School. After that she opened her own silai school, in which she put up the sign board of Usha Silai School, under which many people started coming to her and knowing about her stitching. Now many girls also started coming to her and started learning stitching. Now she has taught stitching to more than 100 girls in her stitching school, 2 of these girls have opened a satellite school (Usha Silai School) and they also started teaching stitching to other girls and women like Manju. Manju now stitches and sells a variety of garments such as gowns, lehengas, cropping hats, frosted jackets, school uniforms in her shop. Today Manju goes to many districts and states as a master trainer to give training. Manju is earning 15-20 thousand rupees a month through silai school, as well as giving good education to her children. 4 to 5 girls have got employment through Manju, as well as she has earned money and brought 4 silai machines through which she trains girls. Manju's financial condition has improved and she is happy with her family. Many girls are doing their own startup by being inspired by them.

Now Preeti is doing B.A. She is also completing her studies, has taken admission in college, is also taking care of her father's medicine expenses herself, and is also participating in paying the house rent, as well as helping her sisters in their studies. Reena teaches sewing to the mentally and socially abused girls/women of Nari Niketan and Balika Grih, which helps in reducing mental stress by joining the work of sewing and also gives skills and confidence along with the society. There is an opportunity to join the mainstream of the society. Rina gets orders from outside. In today's situation, Rina has started getting other sewing orders through people.
