• In Alwar, Barmer and Jaipur district Unnayan conducted AAA and FLF trainings in association with UNICEF for Government of Rajasthan.
• Unnayan undertook Mission Indradhanush 2017 for immunization of children, pregnant women, etc. The immunisation Campaign was conducted in the slum areas of jaipur district by Unnayan. A letter of appreciation has been awarded to Unnayan by Department of Health and AIH for the success completion of the campaign.
• Unnayan is also associated with “TINI” by ‘Tata Trusts’ for the project “Multi –Sectoral Approaches to improve Nutrition” in the program “AAO SUNISHCHIT KRE (MAKING IT HAPPEN)” since July 2019 in Alwar district.

Unnayan Samiti is looking after this program “AAO SUNISHCHIT KRE (MAKING IT HAPPEN)”in 14 blocks of Alwar district. Out of these 14 blocks, Unnayan is focusing primarily on 8 blocks as its working area. In these 8 blocks, we are working on 40 models Anganwadi’s. Our main focus is on malnutrition amongst children, mothers and adolescent girls. We are working on this by strengthening the Anganwadi services and through community mobilization and awareness programs. Our aim is to deliver better health outcomes and to make the entire district free from the shackles of malnutrition.

In Alwar district, we have approached 512 Gram Panchayats. We sensitized the locals through training of 1024 Village Development officers and Sarpanchs, Social Action committee members of Rajeevika , PRI District official-P.O and village Development officers, 2200 Anganwadi Workers and ASHA on the importance of nutrition.
